The Last Ice: Stage 4

by Sep 2, 2024News

We finally see the sun after being stuck in the tent for two days, next to the big Qualeraliq glacier, due to heavy rain and wind. Today we crossed two fjords to the Nahaar Sermat glacier, which we were surprised to see its small size due to climatic degradation.
It is a glacier that is not very active, does not discharge ice into the sea and is not advancing. Tomorrow there are again forecasts of a strong blizzard, let’s hope they are wrong!!!
