After leaving Narsaq we covered a total of 23 km. At the beginning the water through the ice channels was flat as a plate, but with a lot of fog. When the fog finally lifted, the current increased, and overall it was a useful stage to take measurements of everything.
In the area we found there were fewer icebergs than we had expected, as we had been told there would be more of them. The icebergs come from when the glaciers collapse, and here they are already very melted due to the temperatures.
To find more icebergs (stability in the water) and really active glaciers, we thought we would go a little further northwest, which also ends in a better circular route.
We will keep you informed.
